I threw of TMP as it wasn't really providing me with much functionality this last clean install, and I haven't really missed it. I really hope onemen gets the majority of the functionality of the original back into these new builds, but until then, I'm forced to do without.

OK, so I solved my issue... like an idiot, I didn't check my PC settings... and guess what? This was switched on, nothing to do with Firefox... duh!!! 🤦‍♂️

Usually Firefox will let you continue to use profiles made in the same major version. So, if you're using 116.0.3 you should have no issues installing 116.0.2 over it and using it directly.

It's when you start trying things like using 117.0b3 and then reverting to 116.0.3 that you may run into issues. Fortunately, Firefox is (again usually) intelligent enough to warn you when your profile has been used by a 'newer' version.

Since I run Nightly builds along side the table release builds, and both open to the profile manager, because each one has it's own dedicated profile, plus 3 or 4 test profiles that I use once in a while, I'll forget when a test profile has been used by Nightly (usually 2 major versions higher than stable) and try to open that test profile in stable, and it throws up that warning.
