Had to replace my k520 touchscreen with the m310 mouse .
Inserted the new receiver and placed a new k540 with a new m310 mouse , all works fine .
Only the receiver is " not recognized" by Windows (11) , not possible to install any Logitech software either ...........!! When trying to install , it keeps searching for the receiver , while touchscreen and mouse just work fine !
Dont know HOW ( ??) to solve it , seems I dont need Logitech-soft..................

Just got the update. @Edwin, I just picked up the MX Keys combo - MX keys keyboard / MX Master 3S mouse boxset combo. Also includes a palm rest (not shown)....

Running the latest version of Options+ now. Still think it utter BS, Logitech wouldn't support the Craft keyboard with Options+ They're dame near the same keyboard sans the Craft knob. Total bull (n)(n)(n)

Also found out, and why I ended up the combo route.... Options+ now doesn't support the MX Master 3 mouse. Originally just bought the MX Master 3S mouse, only to find out at the house, Options doesn't support it. Yeah, I could have used two versions of Options, but.... 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, the Craft / MX 3 is now moved to the backup system running Options. Now I just need to fiddle with + to see what's there.

Hmmm.... on my system with Options, I kept getting a "not supported by this software notice". Even odder it kept mentioning that the mouse was MAC based, which had me double and triple checking that wasn't the case.

Also need to note this was with the original dongle, NOT the Logi Bolt dongle, which I'm using now.

I actually forgot to mention I had really bad lag with the MX 3 until I installed the Bolt Dongle. And yes, I'm also using Bluetooth.

I'll post more later but will say it probably wasn't the Options software that was causing the issue but rather the dongle.

Edit, actually, I think I need to reinstall Options+. More on that later.

OK, so this is what I get when trying to connect to "Options".....

So yeah, it appears the 3S is not "Options" friendly cause when I hit cancel, I get ....

However, the mouse is seen under Bluetooth ....

Anyway, I uninstalled everything and just installed Options+ no issues there. BTW, mine shows Bolt connected instead of Bluetooth....

Good thing about Logitech mice that have onboard memory is you can install the software, set up the device and remove the software again.
For my MX Master 3 I just use it as it came for when I am doing office stuff.
For everything else (onboard memory) I use my G502 Hero. Don’t even have to install Logi software if you don’t want to. Just use the Logitech Onboard Memory Manager, 12MB and it’s natively portable.

I should note I've never used all the bells in whistles in Options/+ other than to install the software and change a function or two.

You know Options far better than I do.

One thing I will note:
When the Keyboard Backlighting is at default, it's pretty harsh on the battery life! I tone it down a bit.

One thing I will note:
When the Keyboard Backlighting is at default, it's pretty harsh on the battery life! I tone it down a bit.

Yeah, I know about that - discovered it when I first got the Craft, and why the first thing I do is disable backlighting (y)
