Edge keeps closing

I was running Edge Beta as my default browser, latest version 117.2045.30. It had an update on Saturday to 117.2045.31. Since then it would keep crashing on launch, just a brief white screen then close with no errors in the event viewer. It would run probably after 3 or 4 attempts. Stable build...

Update to 117.0.2045.31 (Stable). Does anybody have this problem (tiny "X" at the edge of the right side of the tabs)?

Edge menus have not got the rounded corners with acrylic effect yet. Also, dragging the "Sidebar" items to organize them doesn't work. These two features were supposed to be released with version 117 (Stable).

I know it's always there and is a close tab button. I mean, the "X" is on the edge of (right side of) the tab. I think it's a new bug again. They didn't finish the Edge UI design yet!

I get this error many times! I thought it was because I use a proxy! Edge (Microsoft servers) has many conflicts with proxy apps. I'm not alone with this error, then!

Microsoft Edge "Fluent Overlay" scrollbars (It is under construction, not implemented yet!).

IMO, it's super nice and is far better than this rubbish one (Fluent non-overlay scrollbars):

The only extension I use is an ad blocker.

Where should it be?

I'm not clear what your problem is with "(tiny "X" at the edge of the right side of the tabs)".
