Driver 472 works just fine; the 496 and newer ones refuse to install. It's and older EVGA card, so maybe that is the issue.

This "update" removes support for

NVIDIA_DEV.1FF2 = "NVIDIA T400 4GB"
NVIDIA_DEV.2571 = "NVIDIA RTX A2000 12GB"

The Game Ready drivers have all the fixes for creative media software that the Studio ones do, also.
It's just that Game Ready are updated more often, because of new or improved games.

I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro from Windows 10 Pro on October 31st...
but the gfx Nvidia drivers still thinks I am on Windows 10.. strange..
anyone having this issue.. as reported from the Nvidia control panel app

Yeah, I've been on Windows 11 Pro since the middle of August, and NVidia control panel is reporting Windows 10 Pro.

It doesn't matter. Nvidia is probably getting the info from this registry setting:

lol yup... probably is Microsoft is so lazy... lol
and many other OEM devs that can't be bothered to update there version strings and info on each release..
for example the Intel Network LAN drivers..
