This is what I have used, I hope I copied correctly, but it does not work.

Yes, on further testing with all the names in your list, I too find that some of the names do not get altered at all. I am afraid I have no idea why

Mine looks similar I think, maybe I misunderstood what you meant by three-line view

Thank you very much. That puts my mind at ease about whether I caused that wasted third line or the devs did. Now I have to find a way to communicate my unhappiness with that third line to them. And my expectation is that they don't care.

The only thing I've needed to alter so far in your #117 code is the line

#folderTree li[data-folder-type="outbox"] { display: N one !important; }

It won't work with that space after the N.

I've left the beta channel and am now on esr, and I've got 128.0.1 working perfectly (well, as perfectly as the danged devs will permit) with your slightly edited code from #117 and a copied-over set of profile files from my 115 install.

Many, many thanks again for lending me your expertise with the CSS files.

Save all of you server info, then delete everything using REVO then make sure everything is gone, then Download 127 an install. You can backup everything first using MozBackup but only restore the local folders. A system backup should be done as well.

Saw your comment on Github (of course), and was just wondering which version you tried 3.2.1 (successfully) on.

My 3.2's are still working perfectly (with edited json file to change the max version), but 128.0.1 wouldn't even let me try an edited 3.2. This 3.2.1 seemed perfectly acceptable to 128, and it works to let me sort the Local Folders, which is what I wanted it for.

You can sort ALL folders, including the supposed 'unmoveable' default folders.

Okay, the esr mystery is finally coming out of the shadows. "Wayne," one of the gurus of TBird says this on Reddit:

"Users on 115 who receive automatic updates are being changed from 115.10.1 release channel to 115.10.2 ESR channel. This is freeing the release channel to eventually be used for monthly versions.
Version 128 ESR (the next major ESR version) will be delivered only via the ESR channel as an update from 115 ESR. Users will eventually be able to choose monthly releases, which will be announced when all the pieces are in place."

So, for now, we're all going to be on the esr channel for a period (after we update from anything to anything), while the devs work out some kinks, and then we'll be given the option to move from esr to release if we wish to get the monthlies.

I'm glad he posted that, because I was still worried about being on esr and was sure I hadn't opted for it.

Yeah, I know. I've got it running alongside 115, and I don't like what they've done to the Cards View in the message list. It was great, and much better than Table View IMO, but they've taken away its best quality: the two-line display of the sender and date on one line, and the full subject on the other line. No clipping or shortening. Now there's a third line, and its only occupant is the star. That star line makes the message display 33% talller than it was in 115. Blech.

I think all of you who approve of the Nebula edition also DON'T USE Cards View.
