Microsoft Photos App New Update


2022.31100.24013.0 has icloud, or it shows on my system with this version installed

I think you have got the 2022.31100.27008.0 version (Fast Ring!). I didn't download it yet. I will go for it tomorrow morning. I think MS would officially release this version tomorrow (tomorrow=Tuesday!).

We are in the process of moving to a new country, we fly out next week and there is a lot still to do. So even while sleeping my head is going through things that still need to be done.

It's there yet (version 27008.0)! But I have removed the Photos.DLC.MediaEngine plugin manually (after the official Photos app update). Good news! It didn't get back again.

Unfortunately, it's there too. Fortunately, it doesn't work. By clicking on the icon, this message appears (SS below), and by selecting cancel, it goes for the Photos app, not the editor :thumbsup:. But a new headache started! How to get rid of this icon?!

Instead of selecting "Retail" (in #2), select "Fast" (Fast Ring=Insiders). Then it lists 2022.31100.31005.0 version for you. Click on it to download, double click on downloaded AppXBundle file to install this version.

Strange , only getting msix-bundle ........no AppXBundle !
When installing this version , msixbundle ; it gives me the 31100.24013 still.............

First uninstall current version, reboot, install the new version and check out its version. My suggestion is to uninstall with Geek uninstaller (it's free and is about 6MB), because it also removes Registry footprint.
