wait...they surely can't mean W11?? Or is the inspiring creativity referring to all the taskbar registry tweaks we are dealing with?that brings you closer to what you love, empowering productivity and inspiring creativity
Hey geneo, "You've got to pick up every stitch" is from an old Donovan tune. :) Been meaning to comment to you on that line. Guess I aged myself with that comment. lolUmm, the only thing they seemed to have listened to is their telemetry (and even that apparently selectively).
We are all just batteries.
So am I. :)Indeed that is what I picked it up from "Season of the Witch". How does this age us. He's an old man now

Hi,
The way 11 looks and operates I'd say ms not only didn't listen ms just slapped insiders down big time lol
Hi,I don't know about that since I'm really liking Windows 11! I definitely like it better then Windows 10. :)
Tough crowd! Solution is easy, just stay with 10.Hi,
Out of the box 10 needs fewer alteration so 11 this is 4 steps backwards
Explorer menus are one step back when ribbon is better icons are a sad joke insiders suggested this nonsense
Start menu is another almost 2 steps back which insiders suggested this nonsense
Context menus well they speak for themselves Show More again which insiders suggested this nonsense
Anyone not minding these silly changes only use browsers on 11 probably edge lol or desktop apps for all youtube/ twitter/ facebook/ instafame/.. which you could do all this on a cell phone sure don't needs 11 for this 10 did it too lol

Let's face facts.. 11 is not geared toward everyday users and it's aimed at businesses who drove the buss on this version. For my use it's just fine since I don't modify or tweak the UI a single bit., just as in a business environment. But others will find it annoying. As time passes third party apps will come along to make it customizable.
I agree... Windows 2000 was a proper business workstation (as far as I can remember)Business user's have the same interest in having an efficient UI (in terms of using the Ui to get work done) as home users. Windows aa is less efficient to use than 10. So I don't completely buy into this argument. The UI is more like you would expect from a phone than a business workstation or laptop. Maybe it will evolve into something better , but I have my doubts.
Businesses don't want their employees customizing the UI. They want a standard interface that will make it easy to maintain.Business user's have the same interest in having an efficient UI (in terms of using the Ui to get work done) as home users.
