You need to first establish why your pc is showing the correct email/login/user folder “trevo” and your laptop is displaying “tevo” if that is what is happening? Why though?
If you’re using the same MS credentials, this isn’t right.

Did I mis type? At the log in screen it has email address, its just when trying to change log in details in netplwiz it shows trevo

That’s normal, you can use either. You can use trevo or you can use your whole email address

Try out whatever it is freebooter posted you, I can’t find Brinks tutorial. Just use your correct MS credentials
Username: trevo
Password *****

or whatever it is you use to log-in to your PC

I don’t know, looks like you’ve created a 2nd account but it could also be a known glitch. Only login to the account that has your photo. If that is the right account. ill tell you how to get rid of the other in a sec

This will seem weird, but sometimes Windows needs to flush itself for the Netplwiz Auto log-in to work. I have had to do this often. It needs to be repeated about 3 or 4 times in one sitting.

In Netplwiz, I assume you have un-checked the "User must enter a username and password to use this computer"

1 Go back to Netplwiz and re-check the box "User must enter a username and password to use this computer"
Click "Apply"

DON'T REBOOT
DON'T CLOSE Netplwiz.

2: Now un-check "User must enter a username and password to use this computer"
click apply, enter and confirm your password, click OK

DON'T REBOOT
DON'T CLOSE Netplwiz.

3: Now re-check "User must enter a username and password to use this computer"
Click "Apply"

DON'T REBOOT
DON'T CLOSE Netplwiz.

4: Now un-check "User must enter a username and password to use this computer"
click apply, enter and confirm your password, click OK

Reboot. Tell us if the second account is gone.

For some reason, sometimes when using the Netplwiz auto log-in method, it creates a ghost account. I couldn’t tell you why. Using the above fix to flush the system can be needed. In my experience.

Whether he did or didnt, his image with two login accounts is still not an uncommon side effect of setting up auto login using Netplwiz, So I assume he tried something. Hence rhe image. In fact I first learned about it on either here or 10 forums.

I have watched that I have the box unticked but it still asks for the password.

I ticked the box and rebooted and then unticked the box and rebooted and it still asks for the password. On the log in page 2 accounts are showing bottom left as in image I posted but going into user accounts only one account shows.

I have no clue what you are trying to do with Netplwiz it's used for automating login process if you don't know or don't have password why use Netplwiz.

I do have password and I am trying to set up automatic login. However after 4 hours I felt enough is enough and am now reinstalling windows.
