Missing some advanced security options in Windows Security Center after Clean install from Win10 to Win11 Pro

I am running Windows 11 Pro 22H2 on my Dell Latitude 5490 and I believe that I have all my Virtualization requirements as shown from the System Info page. But I still see advanced security options like shown from the image below in the Defender Security settings.

I just switched from Windows 10 Pro 22H2 using a CLEAN INSTALLATION.

Maybe my mistake was that I needed to turn On VBS before

I thought that a clean installation of Windows 11 Pro would have these settings On by default.
What am I doing wrong here?

Try rebooting.
I was just looking at my Device Security and it said I had no TPM (which I do).
I rebooted and it's back again. LOL



Microsoft = a lean, mean, busted machine. :D



All I remember is that you have to enable CPU Virtualization in the BIOS, and turn on one or both of these things...
Also... post your exact Windows build number, for questions like these.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
In the Bios I only see Intel-VT enabled but I don’t think my pc supports CPU Virtualization. It’s a Dell 5490 laptop which is quite old for these advanced security features to be enabled. Otherwise, Windows 11 is quite snappy compared to 10👍

Intel VT should be the right thing (Intel Virtualization Technology).

VBS will be disabled if you have incompatible drivers (since your Dell might be too old).

VBS did work when I was on Windows 10 and running but needed to be turned off because noticed some performance hit.

The way I turned it on was through group policy.

So to confirm, VBS did run without issues except with just a little system slowness.
