I am posting here, because. Hopefully someone here(in this forum) can give me an idea of my problem. Yesterday, I got a brief BSOD message yesterday. That said 'WHEA INCORRECTABLE ERROR'. I looked the error up on Google. It mentions a software conflict. While I can watch video, and speak into my webcam's mic. I can't hear anything. Any ideas'?

RSVP TIA

What @Ghot said.

For your microphone issue though, go to Settings > Privacy & security turn on microphone access and make sure the apps you are using have permission to access your microphone.

I am not having trouble with the microphone. I tested it to make sure. I am having trouble hearing from ZOOM, YouTube, and Doxy. My sound system has power. So, I know my problem isn't electrical.

It seems I got the wrong end of the stick there ... lol

Right click on the audio speaker icon in the system tray and select Open volume mixer or go to Settings > System > Sound > Volume mixer. Make sure you have the correct output device selected and the volume is set to 100% or an appropriate level.

Then make sure the volume levels for all apps are set to 100%, click on the down arrow beside each app and make sure the input and output devices are set to Default.

The v2 Logs can be found on your desktop. Look for a .zip file with your computers name and the date and time in the file name on the desktop and drag it onto the reply window in here. Or use CTRL + C to copy the file and CTRL + V to paste it into the reply window.

If the file is larger than 2MB, then upload it to Google Drive or One Drive etc... and paste the share link to it in your reply.

Your .zip file is completely empty. You need to wait for the V2 Log Collector to actually finish before you upload the log file.

I kept waiting until it said to press any key at the end. Re-doing it multiple times.

Something must be very wrong with your PC, you just posted another empty .zip file.

Try downloading the V2 Log Collector again and try running it again. Check the file size of the .zip file before you post it. Your current file size is 22 bytes.

Go to C:\Users\*YUN*\Desktop and look for the .zip file there.

Again, the file is only 22 bytes, just big enough to contain the .zip file header. Clearly, the diagnostics are not running correctly on your machine.

Did you follow my instructions regarding the speaker output?

Are you able to hear sound now?

Still not able to hear sound, BUT: Google Drive: Sign-in

The file is too large to be attached. So, I need to put your name in, to give you access. To the file at the above link.

Uninstall any of these non-Microsoft software before running the V2 log collector:
a) antivirus
b) firewall
c) drive encryption

Make sure that extract all is clicked.
