You want to find the msixbundle for the version that you're looking for. THe BlockMap file is useless, and you can see it is a tiny file, not gonna install anything. Verify for size at hte right too.
- Click that link for the correct version, download, then run it (sideloading it onto your system).
This method
always works, you just have to find the current version in the list. The search term in step 2 is not
version dependent, only
application dependent. So that search term will
always find the versions of the Media player.
So, when the next version comes out, when someone reports it here, you do all of this again only looking for that new version.
