Not seeing Folders when I select local disk C:


Are you able to open administrative command prompt or administrative power shell?

I agree it looks like extracted files of some kind. If the entire drive looks like that, how the heck is windows even working.

A lot of Windows' default driver files are also dated 2016.

The Echo %systemroot% is the best way to go about it, as it won't let the user accidentally set it to something else.

With Set if the user accidentally types anything after systemroot all sorts of shenanigans could ensue. System *should* prompt with UAC, but if it has been turned off ....
