Logistics isn't always in a straight line. There is so much involved that it gets very complicated.

My battery finally arrived at 5:09 PM. Everything is now setup and working as it was. If it wasn't something that helps safeguard my desktop computer I wouldn't have been so upset. I still think Amazon should be more informative to the customers when a shipment gets delayed.

I have had really good luck with "Mighty Max" batteries for my UPS's. I buy higher amperage, i.e. 12v 9AH vrs 12v 8AH ones and connect them external on an insulated container since they are slightly physically larger. Any problems, I can put the voltmeter on them while they are going "wonkie" or can change them out without opening the UPS. I keep 4-6 in storage as I have 6 ups's going. Most are 12v some are 24v using two 12v in series etc. I have been "piddling" with electronics for 40+ years, would not attempt this if not familiar. :O(
