My battery finally arrived at 5:09 PM. Everything is now setup and working as it was. If it wasn't something that helps safeguard my desktop computer I wouldn't have been so upset. I still think Amazon should be more informative to the customers when a shipment gets delayed.

I have had really good luck with "Mighty Max" batteries for my UPS's. I buy higher amperage, i.e. 12v 9AH vrs 12v 8AH ones and connect them external on an insulated container since they are slightly physically larger. Any problems, I can put the voltmeter on them while they are going "wonkie" or can change them out without opening the UPS. I keep 4-6 in storage as I have 6 ups's going. Most are 12v some are 24v using two 12v in series etc. I have been "piddling" with electronics for 40+ years, would not attempt this if not familiar. :O(

I agree, I don't want to know. I can see how this would be beneficial for people with weak immune systems. As for the Chinese restaurants. Years ago (I think it was in the 70's) we had a near by Chinese restaurant get closed down because of what the health inspector found in the freezer.

I don't mind germs. Feel free to send me any of that germy money you don't want. ;-) I once read a news article where they went to a mall and looked for contaminated areas. Leaving out the obvious areas such as the bathrooms, the hand rails on the escalators were the worst. Because this is a family friendly forum let's just say that they found that a number of people don't bother to wash their hands when in the bathrooms. They found more than just yellow water.
