I don't game on my phones just as I don't game on laptops. That's what my desktops are for.

And my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has 12gig of RAM and in the 3 years of ownership it's never ever gotten that hot. Honestly that story sounds more internet legend than fact. Zero worries here.

And 512gig may be too much for others, but I'm not others, I'm me ;-)

It's not for me to decide what get's posted. Don't put that on me :-)

Anyway, the point being many post many things for different reasons. Someone probably did intentionally spam their phone to see how hot it could get. That just means the phone is being used beyond its normal intended use.

Yes, phones get hot when used, mine does, but not so hot as not hold!!! I think that's near explosion time :eek1:

Bought a new smoke and carbon monoxide detector (make/model = Kidde 10SCO). The old one was quite a few years old. It gave a fire alarm at 4.00 a.m. when there was no fire. I cleaned it with an air duster and replaced the battery (it was a volt down). It was OK until the afternoon when it sounded an alarm again. No sign of fire.

The old one had been OK for such a long time that I bought the same make/model again. Seems fine.

I've had a few smoke detectors that I had to replace because they started doing the same thing. I guess it's their way of telling us that it's time for them to be replaced. :-)

I have the Kidde Model KN-COSM-B-RF Smoke/CO detector alarm
In the user guide it says to replace the batteries with Alkaline Energizer E91
I’ve been using the Energizer Max batteries.
It came w/ a Ten-Year Limited Warranty as does yours so I still have a few years left.

A label on the detector said it should be replaced every 10 years. I don't think I'd had it that long but long enough not to feel hard done by.

A fire dept rep recently paid us a visit to replace our smoke detector for free after 11 years.

The worst part is that I put the battery back in the old one this morning and it's been OK so far. Don't know if I could trust it throughout the night though. :-)
