That's what I was afraid of. I really don't like routers.

The Cricket store has free wireless, and it's two doors down from the laundromat I go to.
So I can just stop in there, when doing my laundry... for updates, etc.
I'm now on the phone's unlimited data plan, so the wireless isn't a huge necessity.

Having a mobile phone is like having a router. You can also turn your phone into a mobile router (hotspot). It doesn't make a difference.

On your windows 11 PC, go to Settings>>>Network and internet>>> turn on Mobile hotspot. Then you see if you can find your PC's name on your phone's wifi list.

I'm guessing I don't see that option because I don't have a router?
I have the Windows Mobile Hotspot "service"... running atm.
I have the Bluetooth "services" disabled.

Ok. Looking at your PC specs, it's probably because you have Windows Home edition?
Because I have that option on my Windows Pro PC.
Now you have another reason to upgrade to Pro. :-)

Probably a one time $10 Windows Pro key is your best and cheapest option than paying a $60 monthly data plan for your phone's wireless connection.

Somewhat mad I'll miss out on this deal as I'd already invested in refurbishing my Sennheiser HD700 cans. Anyway, Amazon's Prime Sale has these Sennheiser HD 660S2 Open back headphones going for $399.95, a price drop of $100 bucks.
