Oaky, this is my last purchase. I'm going to see if I can set up the Bluetooth Logitech speakers my wife got me as rear speakers. That way, I'll have sound all around (not surround sound, though).

I got one of those, similar but not quite as fancy, and it does work plugged into a computer then tune radio to its signal.

I ended up having to switch it out for a different model that I was certain transmitted. Unfortunately, my idea of hooking my Bluetooth speakers up as rear speakers won't work in Bluetooth mode because there's a delay in the signal. So, the speakers are out of synch. I bought a 10' aux-aux cable just now. I'll hook it up that way. I'll keep the Bluetooth transmitter/receiver I bought just in case I need it for something else.

Are you sure that you need a Bluetooth receiver and not a Bluetooth transmitter?

This is the one I purchased from Amazon. It's a long-range transmitter/receiver. It works so much better than the onboard Bluetooth. Before I was constantly re-pairing my headphone and would lose connection when I left the room. Wish I'd have known about this one; I'd have spent the extra cash for it. The little guy I got (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09JKDBNKB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) did what I needed it to do, but the problem is that there's a tiny lag between when my Bluetooth speakers receive the signal and when my wired speakers receive the signal. The Bluetooth speakers are a tad behind. Not a good effect. I might return it, though I'm not sure if I can since it has been opened already and used. I could say it didn't work, but that would be disingenuous of me.

I can see where trying to pair two sets of Bluetooth speakers might be a problem. I don't know if there is any software that can sync the speaker. A couple of times I unplugged the power to it and my son left his Bluetooth speaker on and when I plugged it back in it paired to his speakers. Since there's an aux port in the subwoofer, I bought a 10' aux-aux cable to run the speakers behind me. That way, I'll have sounds in from and in back. It should be nifty!

I had to move my computer from our spare bedroom when our son moved back. Now it's downstairs and not in a separate room so I can't use speakers. I decided to go with Bluetooth headphones so I can have the freedom to move around.

That's one of the few reasons I have a smartphone - for my music. I can control my iPhone with my Apple watch. Very convenient.

Bought this for my wife for our 10th anniversary next month. She's going to put it into a tiny sunroom where she works. She absolutely loves music.

She wants to get me something, but I'm pretty sure I don't need anything. I'm trying to think up ideas. We only live in a tiny house, so this should reach outside, where she loves to be, without a problem.

Not sure yet. Whatever it is, I'd better think of it soon!

The sound isn't the problem. It's the software and setup that sucks. Bose makes some outstanding sound products, but when it comes to software, they badly need to outsource to someone who knows better.

Thanks for the input Dru2! I'm hoping it's not too bad so as to cause problems. I also had to get a bracket so I can mount it on the wall. That's going to be the most daunting part, I think, because I can't hang a picture level using a level! Oh, the stress of it all!
