I really have no idea why this happens since there doesn't seem to be a pattern, but the PC just hangs when waking from sleep on some attempts to wake it. I will click something to wake it up, and the fans will start running but there will be no display signal. There will also be a red light on the mobo during this process but I can't exactly see on which lamps, I think it's DRAM and CPU though not 100% sure. These lamps are also red when the PC is booting normally though only for a few seconds, but when it hangs up like this, they are lit the whole time.

Sometimes, it will restart itself after like 5 or so minutes, but most of the time I just restart it manually and it works. Another weird thing that happens is that when I restart it from this state (or when it restarts itself), it's like it wakes rather than restarts normally, my programs and everything will still be open. It was happening for about a month every 1-2 days, and then it stopped for a couple of weeks before happening again last night.

If I can establish any patterns, it's that I think it has a higher chance of happening when the PC has only been asleep for 1-3 hours or so. Longer sleep cycles seem to have a rarer chance of triggering this, but I can't confirm this 100%.

Since your system is a desktop rather than a laptop, my comments below are a bit less likely to be the cause of the problem, but I would still explore this...

On many systems, the symptoms that you describe can often be a result of using a generic display driver rather than the driver provided from the system manufacturer. If you have allowed Windows update to update your display driver, or downloaded the driver from Nvidia, Intel, etc. I would suggest going to the ASROCK web site and downloading their display driver and installing it. Once again, this issiue is more common with laptops, but I would still suggest looking into this.

The five 8TB drives and three 512GB SSDs are part of a DrivePool using StableBit DrivePool software. The three SSDs are devoted purely to caching for the 8TB drives. All of the important data is stored in triplicate so that I can withstand simultaneous failure of 2 disks.

It could be cause of the GPU driver, so update the GPU driver.

These lamps are also red

For CPUs this should be the case (even in the case of coming out of sleep), for RAM probably not.
But they don't have to burn all the time.
EZ Debug LEDs see for your motherboard.
