Permanent disable of defender and update

I assume the only reason that you're considering disabling Microsoft Defender Antivirus is because you are using third party software. If so, you don't have to disable it. You can do periodic scans with it. I did the opposite. I uninstalled my third party AV, because it was just consuming too many resources. I decided to just use MDA. I have Smart App Control enabled, and my main account is a standard user.

use gpo to set updates to notify before download and install AND to disable updates notifications. WU wont be disabled, but it will never bother you again and will never auto install anything. you can use the portable WuMgr app to check for updates and select them ALL and click HIDE so they do not show again, if you want to go that route.

you can use winaero tweaker to disable WD and to disable the sys tray icon as well.

I've already told you how
- install another AV app, or
- install a dummy AV app.

Best of luck,

But even with these 3rd party programs never is permanent.
And this is the target to be permanent not temporary solution.

So again is there a permanent way NOT temporary?

I have never seen that claim before.
You seem to be claiming that installing, say, Bitdefender is only temporary.

Isn't there this ms patch it at future updates and re-enable by itself the automatic updates?
And isn't there a really permanent solution and not simply extended for toooooo long the pause time(That i believe at next windows update ms patch this so it isn't permanent solution for automatic windows updates.
As i post there this is not a real permanent solution.
So is there a permanent solution of disable automatic windows updates and defender?
But really permanent solutions.

Disabling WU & Defender are two separate topics. Trying to ask about both in the same sentence might be where you are going wrong.

1 I know nothing about disabling WU. I prevent automatic Windows updates by settings all my network connections as metered. I update manually.

2 Installing Bitdefender, another AV or a dummy AV app is a permanent solution to disabling Defender. What is wrong with that?

Here you go: GitHub - Msprg/Disable-Windows-Defender-Permanently: I've had it with the Windows Defender bullshit, and maybe you too. If that's the reason you came here, be at peace for your struggle ends here.

Disable defender temporarily as per usual, download as zip, extract it, view the batch code and modify it as you see fit, run the script. If there are no errors, reboot when it tells you to. If there were errors, make sure the defender is currently off, including real-time protection, and try to run it again. Let me know whether it helps you or not.

And you are doing this fully on your own risk, please backup. If you don't backup, don't cry about broken system.

Yes. Exactly as @Try3 told you. Let me repeat it. No need for sketchy tools found on the internet. All done within Windows.
Disable updates

Install a third party AV that registers with Defender. When such AV registers with Defender, Defender is automatically turned off and the third party app handles all protection.
