This tutorial will show you how to play a sound on your Android mobile device from the Phone Link app on your Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC.
With the Phone Link app on your PC linked to your Android phone, you can instantly access the Android apps installed on your mobile device right on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. Using a Wi-Fi connection, Apps allows you to browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.
The Phone Link app on your Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC can play a sound on your linked Android phone for 20 seconds to help find the mobile device.
Here's How:
1 Open the Phone Link app on your Windows 10/11 PC.
2 Click/tap on the Play sound button at the top of the left pane. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on Play sound to confirm. (see screenshot below)
4 The sound will automatically stop playing on your linked mobile device after 20 seconds. You can also manually Stop playing the sound on the mobile device from the "Link to Windows" notification. (see screenshot below)
5 Click/tap on Got it, and hopefully find your phone. (see screenshot below)
That's it,
Shawn Brink
