I like the saying.... "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
So, unless there's some issues - i don't bother installing the latest driver. Current driver is from April - and no - Windows doesn't update a driver - if i already have one installed (only if i'm missing a driver - and one is available through Windows Updates - it gets triggered for an install). Can't even install the latest Updates - if i don't disable the firewall and do a manual search.
Btw, did you use Windows Updates - to install the nVidia drivers the first time around? Cause I used the public nVidia installer and doesn't even show-up in Windows Updates (not even as optional update) - while searching for new updates.
