Not if they’re physical files.

If it were simply WMP indexing showing duplicate entries, then most likely yes. But not when physical duplicates have been created.
Watch the CCleaner video I posted, or one of the other methods.

In file explorer
If filename contains “Copy” search the hierarchy folder for “Copy” then delete all the resulting files.
If the filename contains “(2)” search the hierarchy folder for “(2)” then delete all the resulting files.

A much better option than messing with Windows Media Player is to use a better music player.
For example, MediaMonkey will do most library jobs such as yours for you.

I wouldn't allow Windows Media Player anywhere near my music library.

For some reason, I can't see those files in my Music Folder in File Explorer. Could there be something that I'm doing wrong?

I've tried some of the more advanced media players; however, I supposed that I just don't have the intellectual IT capacity or know-how to operate those players. Therefore, I stick with the simple and the intuitive.

the media player software on a pc is irrelevant for quality. all you need to have FLAC lossless audio tracks and good sound hardware.

Unless you decided otherwise, music would be in the user folder “Music”?
I don’t use WMP. Is there are way to see the path of a music track or album?

When I open the Music folder and then open the Artist then album, I'm only seeing one pair of songs for some albums and zero songs for other albums where it says it's empty. Therefore, I don't know what is going on.

I mean in file explorer. Your user folder. File explorer/music

Also, when I Googled how this works, Google's AI said:

I have lost track of what you’re doing. I thought you wanted to delete duplicate music files? Go to where they are stored in file explorer and delete them.
Restoring windows media player will not delete physical files. I’ve mentioned this in both threads.

I would suggest you use file explorer to find where it is you have stored your music by using the search box at the top right of file explorer.
You need to get an idea of there these files are if they are not in the default user music folder.

In the search box, type the following (or click on it to copy to your clipboard then paste it in the search box) and press enter

*.mp3 (most likely extension)
Or
*.wav

The * represents “any” so the results will be “anyfilename.mp3”

When the results show, and you recognise some music file names, mouse over them or one of them and the path should pop up. Or right click on one of them and select open file location.
