Rumored... Windows File Explorer will tie into OneDrive, Microsoft 365


I jumped to the end after reading a few pages of this thread so I have to ask. Is MS going to prevent us from Creating our own local folders or moving our User folders to a local location? If not, I don't see what the problem is.

Discover how to make a car that runs on... sand or something else that's seriously cheap, and be working up a prospectus on Office 365 Online, and have someone steal the idea. Or worse... end up in some off shore submarine detention center for the rest of my life, just because I wrote up my idea in Office 365 Online. :cool:

The online version is limited, and only saves/retrieves files from your One Drive.
I've never used it for anything important. Nor does anyone I know.

I generally agree with the overall tone of your post, except that I find that breadcrumbs are VERY desirable, breadcrumbs should ALWAYS be visible whenever you are working with a file so that you always know WHERE the file is located (y)(y)(y)

Frankly, I do not care a damn about people who say they do not use either for whatever reason.

Nobody is forcing you to use them - just uninstall Onedrive, use LibreOffice or whatever but stop making out that Onedrive etc is 666 i.e. mark of the devil.

Especially since most of the "OneDrive" haters have never even used the app, let alone know how to use it. It's simply willful lack of understanding that's driving the FUD.
