Your ping return time is a bit slow but good for you.
Have you tried any other locations or Poitiers is closest to you?

@Melchior Graulges' return time is slower vs. mine on same system, in fact 2.5 times slower.
I said 'ping return time is a bit slow', I never used the term lower or higher pings.👌

The Orange at Poitiers is the best figures I get. There is one server closer at Bordeaux but all the figures are worse from there. Where do I find a ping return time. I don't see it anywhere or is it calculated? By the way the server at Poitiers is 83 miles away.

It's under Ping (listed in ms)
My server is 63 miles or 30% closer which could explain your delay in return ping time- which means it takes longer to get there.-for @Melchior-
No big deal as it's hardly noticeable.
