Yes it is the SL chair. This one is the Omega model. Been using it since 2021. Perhaps the best way to answer your question is by telling you that my wife did ask for one as well after sitting on my chair.

I've had a Secret Lab gaming chair for five or so years (I think?). I sit in it 8-10 hours a day, six days a week. It's held up pretty well, though the seat cushion has become a little uncomfortable. I got a butt cushion, so it's not a problem now. I've read you should replace your work chair every three years or so. But at the price I paid, I've decided to just add what I need to recreate comfort.

My pc is now 4 years old. While I would love to go through the process of building a new rig, there is absolutely no reason to. I'm on a 12 core ryzen 9 5900x, have gen 4 nvme storage, have a gtx 3080 video card, 64gb of ram, 2.5Gbps networking and my box is running fantastic. Technology just isn't evolving fast enough for me to even consider a new build.
Happy New Year. I do see your point about being happy with what you have. I also think you validated my point. You purchased a PC that gave you the best value for the dollar rather than building one. For others, it isn't that technology isn't evolving fast enough so much as it simply isn't taking the right direction. For example, from what I understand, Co-Pilot is now asking for hardware boasting a minimum of 16 GB of DDR5 system memory. Well, I sure don't have that and I'm not about to run out and buy 128GB of DDR5 memory and a system board to put it in.
I wish I had the time and money to do that!

I remember I had to do curb side pick-up of the new desk I purchased.
My daughter is actually an interior designer..., she wants to gut the room and redo it, (actually, she wants me to gut my whole house!!!), but, I can't bring myself around to unhooking and dragging all that junk out of there!
Don't tell anyone but, I'm still running the ASRock Z97 Extreme4 with the i7-4790K with 32 gig of ram, on the Xfinity Gigabit Internet service, so this web surfer is totally content.
Actually, that's what my youngest daughter is using and she's a gamer. That chip clocked @ 4.5 Ghz for me no sweat. As long as you're using a good cooling solution you're good to go.
I have a really good cooler, and the bios has a 4.5 gig option to OC, but I just have never had any reason to OC, plus, they're still kind of proud of those 4790K processors.It would be a sad day if a fella had to use the equivalent of a Haswell 4790K or higher with 32 GB of RAM just to surf the web.
