That's not an option as it does more harm than good.

At the end of the day I need a new workspace. I just need to figure out which way I want to go and fund it.

I'm in the same boat - I've been using the same desk for ... 11? 12? years now, made out of ~1/2" (~1.3 cm) MDF, and the main pieces are starting to sag, in spite of support braces under the front and back.

I know what I want - but I cannot find anyone who makes exactly what I want without adding frills that I don't care for or else missing one or 2 key features. at this point I'm tempted to basically build one on my own, contracting a carpenter to make the tabletops for me and getting my own legs and such to put it all together. Biggest issue is that I want to move away from MDF and get it made out of real wood, making it nice, heavy, and sturdy.

Once I find someone to make the desk tops, then I can gather the other pieces and build it myself.

My next desk will he quality real wood too! Mine is a full glass corner unit. Its nice enough but sitting anything on it makes a lotta noise xD. To be fair it does well enough, I have 3 monitors, My tower, a steering wheel and shifter as well as all my normal peripherals and it takes the weight, Surprisingly xD

I thought about doing this too but there's the cost. For now I'll just continue to use what I have until I'm actually ready to spend some money for a new setup.

Looks great! Hey, I need to repaint the inside of the house - no amount of cleaning will solve that chipped paint issue. I also need to clean our ceiling intake vents. They're filthy!

I did some patch work and I need to do some sanding. As you can see my two love that desk.. I got it from Staples and it's perfect. When I vac next time I'll hit the vents.. nasty looking.

When my mom went to the Hallmark store she would get me an Opus plush. Right now I have 4 of them.. and I loved Bloom County. The creator went to the same university I attended. The University of Texas.
