Hello, Rico.

Happy Holidays.

Upload speed determines how quickly you can share things from your PC to the net. If you often upload large files, share tons of photos or the like, then perhaps you might benefit from the super fast upload speed.

For me personally, I would keep what you currently have. Because I do not do a lot of uploading.

Ultimately, it is your decision, depending upon your needs. But the plan you have now, is a very good plan.

I hope this helped, and did not add to your confusion. :-)

If I had such option, then the decision would be easy for me. Note: ME but maybe not YOU.
I'd setup my personal cloud, and could access everything I have while on the road. This would come with risks though, but if carefully designed regarding security, all should be fine.

In that case, I think you are making a wise decision, Rico.

For me, download speed is more important, an example would be when getting updates. The file are coming to you, so, the time it takes to update your PC would be faster.

Conversely, if you were sending a large file to a friend, then upload speed would be a factor.

The plan you currently have is much better than average, I would venture to guess. For example, I have 100 down and 10 up. And am perfectly happy with it. It just depends on what a person is doing. :-)

Merry Christmas, to you and yours!
