StartAllBack For Windows 11 has been released.
It's an RC release. I haven't tested it yet as I have Start11 installed.

Edit: I have now tested it. It's working quite well.
Apart from a great start menu, you can also have the Enhanced Classic Taskbar back.
This means (for example) that you can have an uncombined and unlocked Taskbar.
You will now also be able to enhance the Taskbar clock using T-Clock Redux or similar.
T-Clock Redux Tray Clock_.png

You can also change Windows Explorer to Ribbon UI or Simple UI.

You can get it Download

Tihiy had said that it was of no interest to disable updates
Exactly what I mean, his personal project for himself, too bad about this type of attitude, because the software is awesome otherwise and it could be even better with easily added options. Oh well....

there is an option during install. just take the time and read. go back to post #1840 on page 92. @Edwin has even posted a screenshot for others that were saying the same thing.

I know there is an option during install, said it already, but there should be one in the settings, like with any normal software. If one wants to disable updates, it would mean to re-install the software and disable auto-update during install, what kind of convoluted method is that ?

Yes the option is to disable the automatic download and installation of updates, but not the appearance of the popup when a new update is available

Which in itself is not annoying, but I still "disabled" all that

It'll be greyed out, I still get the toast, even though I have notifications turned off!

That's the thing of it..., it's not a normal program, it's an SFX bundle..., it extracts it's resources to the AppData folder and hooks the shell from there.

Yeah, you don't get, that's OK.
That's the thing of it..., it's not a normal program, it's an SFX bundle..., it extracts it's resources to the AppData folder and hooks the shell from there.
Given the option is there in the installer, and in the registry, surely there could have been an option in the settings, but like I said, there is no will to implement simple options. In my view, soon we will either have the default look of Win11 or the SAB look, both almost locked in terms of option for the GUI.

There's no need to do that, when you can disable them in Windows notification settings.

I loved modding and customizing operating systems since very young age, gaining experience from all important systems, including Windows, Ubuntu, MacOS and Android, which led to creation of Windows 11 mod called WinMac. Seamlessly blending the elegance of macOS with the versatility of Windows, my customized interface elevates user experience through meticulously crafted modifications and UI enhancements.

With WinMac, every interaction with Windows 11 environment is imbued with a touch of sophistication, where the boundaries between the Windows and Mac universes blur, offering a sublime computing experience that transcends conventional limitations of Windows 11.

The only supported way to disable updates is via group policy. Tampering with app components may break it. Generally you don’t have much leeway to use old app version as it won’t work on newer OS.
