Taskbar widgets button moved on me!

So for ages if not always my widgets button on my task bar has been between the start button and my quick access icons. This is where I liked it.

Tonight though I noticed that ONLY this button seems to have realigned to the right side of the taskbar just left of the clock and tray area.

I checked settings and turned it on and off and also made sure things are aligned left and these settings were all proper but again this button is still on the right side.

How do I move it back as I can't seem to drop and drag it.

yeah I hate when companies do this Firefox same thing there use to be a setting to put tabs on the bottom of the header area now every time they break it users have to find a work around to put them back makes no sense why companies just don't give users the option which placement they want sometime as simple as a button or tabs especially when the button or tab can clearly be in both locations just make it a setting or drop and drag! Let the user decide where they want it

No issue with my Win11 machines with the Taskbar set as Centered and Widgets on extreme left end of Taskbar. Sounds like the Widgets are acting like in Win10, next to the Notification Area [formerly System Tray].

Yeah this is same here it moves left if I center things but I don't want the task bar centered!

But they are acting just like this aligned left the widgets get pushed over to the right and if centered then go left but everything else isn't where I want it

Wife has this issue too and is very pissed. How can microsoft do this without an option to change back it boggles the mind. Is there no workaround to revert it?
