Thunderbird Beta Versions


Meh. Thunderbird full screen on a 4K monitor makes cards look silly lol. Probably why I have it defaulted to table view across all installations (in fact, across all my email programs in general).

Well, I'm thinking maybe the expansion of the cards display to three (and eventually four) lines is to accomodate additional stuff, like perhaps the first line or two of the message, as in some other mail clients. They've got the space now; they just need the code.

I see your points (about this display), and I've been trying to get along with the Table view for a couple of days now. It's growing on me. (Kinda like a fungus.) I don't think I'll go back to Cards view until they finish "fixing" it. Thanks for your help with checking this all out.

Lol yeah, I have as feeling cards mode will never be fixed, because "ZZzzzzzOMG Ponies!" - let's add 19 thousand more elements to show not only a reaction, but everyone's reactions to group email, because, you know, email is so last millennium, texting / chatting is what it is really all about. And not just in Tb, either, Outlook, heck, any mail client that offers that view.
