So I was poking around windows security for other reasons and I notice according to Windows security, I don't have a TPM module, which is news to me since I shouldn't be able to upgrade to Windows 11 without one. I check in the BIOS and device manager and verified that TPM is enable and exists in the device manager and is working. What's weird is that I have two TPM device: AMD PSP and TPM 2.0.

I eventually got TPM to show up properly in Windows Security by deleting the device and let it re-add. Now I still have the same AMD PSP and TPM 2.0 devices, but now security shows up. However, I am still a bit unclear how ;long this TPM issue has been going on and if it affected other things. For example, I don't know if Bitlocker is store in the TPM or not? What about Windows Hello? I like to think Yes, but who knows. I use Enpass as a password manger and it does not recognize the TPM, so there is still some software compatibility. I don't know if TPM/Software compatibility is common on security related apps.

Note that this machines was upgrade last year from Windows 10 to 11 in-place. Perhaps the issue appear back then.
