TPM Fiddling

Been fiddling with my BIOS & drivers to figure out why TPM is not working. Turned TPM & secure boot on in BIOS & cleared TPM.
Still won't start, so....

No, that's normal for Intel drivers.

The Intel Chipset Device Software Utility shows a date of 07/18/1968 because it is symbolic: Intel was founded on that date. The reason this date is used is to lower the rank of drivers in concern.
This is necessary because it's a supporting utility that should not overwrite any other drivers. Updating these drivers is not needed. Do not worry if you don't have the latest version.

Why Is There a Date of 1968 in the Intel® Chipset Device Software...

MS do the same thing....

6/21/2016 was the day Windows Vista released to manufacturing (aka RTM date). Since then, when MS supplies a driver for a non-Microsoft device it uses this date.....

....As MS updates generic drivers, it increments the driver version number. But it leaves the date at 6/21/2006. That way if a third-party driver comes along, it will almost always trump the MS generic driver version.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

TPM: It is on according to the BIOS.

Did you clear tpm in bios or from within windows? I do hope you have your data backed up before messing with this.
