Unable to switch on Core Isolation with new install of Windows 11

Unable to turn on Core Isolation in Windows 11 due to incompatible drivers. Are you able to help resolve these issues? Interestingly enough my laptop doesn't report the Rapport ones just the Intel ones which I think is due to the graphics card?

I tried the file patch to bypass the check but this resulted in my pc going into a diagnostic and start up loop so I had to perform a System Restore to an earlier date.


Any help would be great. Thank you

I had a problem with core isolation that reported incompatible drivers. They were 4 Logitech drivers, but I don't have any Logitech devices. However, when I uninstalled Virtual Box and toggled the virtual setting off in the UEFI, I magically had core isolation turned back on.

In my BIOS it's referred to as Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology. That has to be enabled if you use virtual machines (virtual OS's), but if it's on, core isolation won't enable (at least on my computer).

If you don't have that setting enabled and you don't use virtual machines, I will allow more advanced windows users to answer you.

Rapport is security software provided by Santander to their customers.


VirtualBox is software for running virtual machines, probably not something you use.

Is this PC an unsupported device? If so, does it have an early generation of Intel cpu? My System Two is unsupported and has a 1st gen i5. It requires that same graphics driver. These older processors are out of support, Intel are no longer updating their drivers.

I have a choice of uninstalling the graphics driver and reverting to the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, then I can enable Core Isolation.
Or I keep the graphics driver and do without Core Isolation. If you have an older cpu like mine then those are your only options.

Which i5? You can tell its generation from the number after 'i5-'.

Yes, uninstalling the graphics drive means you'll be using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, Windows' fall-back driver for any graphics it doesn't have a driver for. Amongst other things the basic driver does not support changing the display brightness, sleep/hibernation, and NightLight.

I chose to keep the Intel HD graphics driver and do without Memory Integrity.
