Windows 11
Have tried to upgrade my Dell XPS 17 L702X from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro.
Issue is when it restarts for the 3rd time after installing, the Windows 11 logo is stuck on the screen, and goes no further.
Did all the registry hacks of adding key "LabConfig", and DWord (32-bit) BypassTPMCheck, BypassSecureBootCheck, BypassCPUCheck, BypassRAMCheck with values of 1 each.
After searching around for answers, one response wrote let the pc run for 1 to 2 hours to see if it finishes the upgrade. Did not work.
8 GB Ram and Samsung 500 GB SSD installed on laptop.
Updated all the drivers, bios(2020 version), etc...
Attached the setuperr2.log file.
Any help with this issue?
Thanks for any responses.

I have several Dells and some I could do the bypass on but others not such as an Inspiron N7010 [which now runs Linux Mint quite happily]. A couple I did get Win11 on are a Latitude E6410 and an Inspiron 15 5537, neither have the TPM nor new-enough CPU.

I don't follow what you've done, but I see that that XPS 17 L702X is quite old, with an unsupported CPU (i7-2630QM).

However, the CPU is supposed to support SSE4.2, which means that it should be possible to run Win 11 24H2 on it.

Yes, I understand those requirements. Even though I did install Windows 10 Pro years ago, and update it regularly.
I also upgraded an older Dell desktop with Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. The processor in the desktop is even older then my Dell laptop. The installation when smoothly without any hiccups.

I looked at the log.

I didn't find it helpful.

The only install I've ever done on unsupported hardware was a laptop with a Gen6 Intel CPU that had been running Win10. It met the other Win11 requirements (including a firmware TPM 2.0). All that I needed to do was set a Registry key. Subsequent versions have been updates, either from an ISO or via Windows Update.

I'm not current with what is required to update 10 to a recent 11 version. I'm not current with the discussions here on unsupported installations.

if you use Rufus 4.6, which is available for download from the Microsoft store.
then download a copy of Windows 11 24H2 'International' edition
you can use Rufus to burn the ISO to a USB drive.
make sure you tick all the boxes before burning the ISO.

then do the upgrade or re-install Windows 11.

best of luck, Steve ..

the US language pack is also available in the international ISO but Rufus seems to be able to interface better with the international ISO.
Rufus but you could try the single language version if you wish.

Make the Win 11 USB installation drive using Rufus 4.6

Got the same result as before after using Rufus. It restarts for the 3rd time after installing, the Windows 11 logo is stuck on the screen, and goes no further.
Next step is to unplug from internet, do not updates during the install process and then hopefully do updates after I boot in to Windows 11. 😊

Just a suggestion, since nothing else is working.
Have you tried switching to Windows x-lite versions? I have them running on all of my windows devices without any issues.
It's basically windows without the bloatware and MS crap in it.
You download the version you want and install it using Rufus
