Very frequent BSOD, Lock-ups, freezes. Sometimes without even running any applications.

3 was ran with 4
In general the greater the number of tests and drivers the higher the CPU load.

Edit: I did not follow correct steps due to not having saw your above post because it was on page 2. I will run the tests again following post 6 steps.


I ran Groups A,B,C as asked and Verifier settings in .txt document below. I selected [Automatically select all drivers installed on this computer] as I do not know if this is correct or not.

For all 3 groups I did not have a BSOD. I then ran all 3 groups together like in config 2 of previous test group and I had a BSOD 2x again before booting in safe mode and turning off verifier. Why would I crash when all 5 settings are enabled, but not crash when splitting up the settings? I assume were were narrowing down a culprit but I'm confused how I didn't crash from at least one of these groups when separate.

When using WDV please select the drivers:

b) Test no Microsoft drivers

c) For the first run of WDV select the 3 customized tests displayed in the TF tutorial


Custom settings: scroll up and down; sort

If there are 18 or 36 non-Microsoft drivers > check only those boxes

So all drivers is never selected.

Running tests now. Just making a note that I have 9 drivers from unknown providers - Should I be concerned about this? I recognize 1, cpuz154_x64.sys as being from MSI, and another has corsair in the name, but the rest I have no clue. Here is the list. I will post again as soon as tests are done.

Attached is .txt for verifier tests. Here is the notes- Group A,B,C all ran without selecting any Microsoft drivers. No BSODs.
I then ran All 3 groups at once as Config 2 and only selected Microsoft drivers. I did BSOD. Does this mean I have a bad Microsoft driver?
