Hi folks
Anybody know of a video player that can send different video streams to different monitors ON THE SAME HOST -- i.e not a server that of course can send different videos to different computers. Also are there any that can do multiple PIP (Picture in Picture) on the same screen - must be possible as Ms teams can show images of participants on the same screen.

Cheers

I'm not entirely sure why you can't just start multiple videos on the same computer and just "assign" each video to a different monitor with like VLC or KLite.
As for the multi PIP, the only one I found was AVP Awesome Video Player on Windows, and PVP ProVideoPlayer on Mac. Maybe depending on the setup, it would just be a case of formatting the PIP so that each PIP fits into it's own monitor?

Hi there

Multi intances of VLC do work -- but you need to go to the config (interface since default is only allow one instance)

I'm on a Linux Fedora LXDE Rel 38 laptop currently but the Linux and Windows GUI and settings of VLC are 100% identical.

So thanks for that tip.

Multi PIP though is still a problem !!
