For those of us in the enterprise market, the transition from VMWare to Broadcom has been less than stellar to say the least. Massive price hikes across product lines, getting rid of their great free products (ESXi), trouble getting quotes generated because of the merger, and I just spent almost 2 full weeks working with my VMWare account rep trying to gain access to the Broadcom customer portal. On 5/6 they shut down the VMWare support portal and forced us to Broadcom. So, I lost all insight to all my tickets and cases....and then when trying to login to broadcom I wasn't able to get in. Nobody in the organization seemed to have any idea how to get my access back. I manage thousands of load balancers on their AVI NSX platform and literally had no way of raising a support ticket in the event i had a problem.I fail to see the humor.
I must have been lucky as Workstation Pro downloaded on the first try.
Actually the two lonely comments located at the bottom of the so called article
reported downloading the software successfully.
So when i saw a story that said, they made the product free, but then people were having trouble finding the download it just seemed par for the course based on what I have been experiencing thus far. it made me laugh, so I posted the picture of the clowns.
