It acts as a support so you can view phone at an angle when viewing videos without holding phone.Why do so many phone case makers put this stupid keychain thing on the back???
Using, say, the phone's Calculator on your desk..., you can't press any keys without it rockin all over the place! Annoying!!!

I use a removable magnetic one, useful for viewing and the removability solves the rocking issue.
I'm talkin about a decommissioned device that still has antenna tech built into it for off the air radio.
I believe this isn't a stand but primarily a finger hole or a grip for taking a selfie so it will be more secured when pressing the shutter button. Also doubles as a stand as a secondary function.Why do so many phone case makers put this stupid keychain thing on the back???
