Pixel 6a, then Pixel 7 and now Pixel 9. All versions still have trouble with fingerprint. I hate to torture my phone by using face unlock, :O( but it works.
Weird, I never had issues. The pixel 9 even has the new ultrasonic fingerprint reader so it should be way better as well. Maybe delete them and do the setup again on the 9.

To name a few: Internet access, camera, clock/stopwatch/alarms, digital TV/radio, music player, video player, compass, gps, programming, word processing, chats. Some even have FM Radio

There's some other major function that eludes me for a moment - oh yes, you can also use it to make phone calls.

I wished someone made a really small sized hub so one can hook up headphones, charger/data cable and a storage device like MicroSD card or USB Flash Drive all at the same time for USB-C.

Yeah but I read somewhere even usb-c connections are being considered for removal - QI charging only.

Mind you it was probably on the internet on 1st April.

(Go Full Screen, it's best)

I use NOVA launcher on my android phones. It allows infinite horizontal scrolling on both the normal screen and on the application drawer.

So you swipe in horizontal direction and screens loop back to first screen.

It allows vertical scrolling on the application drawer but only from top to bottom, not infinite scrolling.

Nova launcher is far superior (imo) than the standard launcher and much more configurable.

I have used it for years - I like its backup of screens so you can reinstate all the icons to a known position.

I know the standard launcher is getting better but still a way to go to get to NOVA.

Why not give it a try - you can flip back to standard launcher an uninstall NOVA if not satisfied.

its also possible your pressing too light on the screen when doing so. I know some people didnt realize you need to press a little harder than you think for it to get a good read. I have no issues on my pixel 8 pro, it works 99% of the time. The only times it does not is when my hand is super sweaty.

Not necessarily..., I just use a Windex dampened cloth and a dry cloth, maybe a couple Q-Tips if necessary.
I always Restart the device though, at least every few days.
A Restart, or soft reset, will purge the RAM properly.

Not necessarily..., I just use a Windex dampened cloth and a dry cloth, maybe a couple Q-Tips if necessary.
I always Restart the device though, at least every few days.
A Restart, or soft reset, will purge the RAM properly.
Not quite the same subject but if you are out and about and phone screen is really in need of an "emergency" clean, I found that DIET COLA on a tissue works well.

I showed guys down the pub this and they all do it now lol.

I tried other diet drinks and they did not work as effectively as diet cola - I reckon it is the phosphoric acid that does the trick?

Of course, do not use full fat cola as the sugar will make things sticky.
