Solved Where can I get a clean 23H2 iso at?

Apparently the Windows site only has the 24H2 iso on hand, and I'm not ready to upgrade to that yet.

At UUP Dump... (these are 100% legit ISOs)

category:w11-23h2 - Browse known builds

category:w11-23h2 - Browse known builds on UUP dump. UUP dump lets you download Unified Update Platform files, like Windows Insider updates, directly from Windows Update.

uupdump.net

Grab any of the ones that do NOT have the word "update" in their title. Those are just... updates.

As for the rest, choose: arm64 for ARM processors, or amd64 for all normal CPUs.

Here's a little picture guide for UUP Dump...

This is what's in the zip file you will download.
Use the command shown in the RED box to start the ISO creation.
Just extract the zip to a new folder, and double click the command.

Do NOT close the Command Prompt window until it tells you to.
It will say something like: "press zero to exit". THAT is when it's finished.

I can't read your picture #4 up top so what about these options here?

The Conversion options here are ticked off by default. Should I leave them as is? Or untick them?

If 'clean' means the default install, I use the free Microsoft Media Creation Tool, have never had an issue with writing the bootable USB drive or getting the .iso file used to burn the DVD+R/DL disc later.

You can leave them as is... or not. It's up to you.
In step #1, you can pick which version (last 4 digits), you want.

NOTE: Picture is now updated. The whole pic is new.

Ok, it's done. I noticed it installs to the folder where you unziped the file. It looks like this:

NO.

Just drag and drop the ISO image file to your desktop.
Then you can delete all that other junk.

Then just follow the In-Place Upgrade tutorial... Option #2, the ISO method... (to upgrade)

I would assume so.
It's just a normal Win 11 23H2 ISO, like any other.

After all the work you've done to get this ISO... you should probably save it to a storage drive.

Ok, since I'm on the same topic, I noticed Windows 10 ISOs over there was well, but they all have "Feature Update to Windows 10..." in front of them. I know what it says but what exactly does it mean? And can I use them for the same purpose?

No matter which "tab" you select at the beginning... any listing that have the word "update" in their titles, are just updates.
Like we get on patch Tuesday, for example.

The listings that do NOT have the word "update" in their titles, are full blown ISOs, just like you'd get from Microsoft.

Do you have something against... apples, or my eating them?

They are there... scroll down a bit you'll see the ones with "update" in their titles.

Nope. Under 22H2, All of them start with "Feature Update..." or "Cumulative Update..." and that's through scrolling through the three pages listed there.

Weren't we talking about 23H2?

I see listings with "update" in their titles, on 23H2, 22H2 and 21H2 (for Win 11)

Again, no. Under 22H2, searching using "Windows 10, version 1809" (without quotes) turns up only "Feature Update...".

You said it yourself, files that begin with "Feature Update..." aren't full blown ISOs
