I have 2 NvME 2Tb drives plus several 4Tb storage hard drives along with 32G DDR4 3200 memory. One NvME is my C:// drive and one I use for games. My current swap file is manually configured on a hard drive. Would I benefit from moving it to the NvME drives and which one, the OS drive or the games drive?
I'm curious because I have a performance monitor running and when I play a game like Elden Ring, The Last of Us, etc it tells me that I'm using up to 45% of pagefile, even though I'm only using up to 17G of total memory. Shouldn't the pagefile come out of memory first before going to the hard drive?
Running Win 11 Pro v 22H2 build 22621.1485
