Which is your preferred password manager software? 2nd Edition. New and improved

A lot of this may be moot soon. Passkeys are destined to replace passwords, and, supposedly, to be much more secure, since they won't travel over the Net. They just reside on your machine, and a hacker has to have both your local key AND your device to get anywhere. (Or so it says here. We'll see, cuz they're coming to a device very near you soon.)

I liked the way Brian Livingston closed his very good article on passkeys in Ask Woody this morning:
"It’s nice to see the technology industry agreeing on a standard way to do something as important as protecting our credentials from thieves.

Now we just have to explain to the 5 billion Internet users around the world why they should ditch the passwords they’ve been accumulating all these years.

Passkeys are a better mousetrap. But not everyone is going to beat a path to their door!"

and not many those days keep passwords in there heads.. or even know the phone numbers by head to the closest family. *LOL*

Yes, and "None of the above" is missing.

I don't use a password manager; I don't need one because I create my own passwords and using my own coded system, keep them in the cloud.

And no, I don't think my code can be cracked. There are too many variables.

True, but I can still remember the phone number we had when I was a kid!!!

Ha! So can I, @Edwin! We had one of the first phones in rural Dallas, County, Texas.

Yeah, so can I, but it was easy back then. When we picked up the phone, which had no dial, the operator answered and said, "Number, please." Then she worked her switchboard and plugged us in to the right line. There were only about 5,000 people in our little town, and most of them didn't have phones. Our number was 339. Yep, I'm a dinosaur.

I don't care what system you use! I merely asked which software solution was most popular here. As I keep explaining, there are only ten responses possible and 'none of the above' is not very useful because it replaces a useful response. As you don't use a password manager, I would have preferred it if you had ignored my poll.
