The last version I have is 5.666. Is that still the most"current" version?

I love Winamp, but one problem I had on my W10 PC was when I upgraded my monitor to a 2K I could not get Winamp to scale correctly. And that's after applying all the tricks.

As far as I can tell only one version is available now but as they main page says there's still something in the works.

My experience with Vista was much like ME, pretty good on OEM computers but not so much on Customs or Upgrades. I never actually bought either OS but had to work on them.

I Had WA for the longest time, but later I also moved to WACUP.

I've installed the newest version, which *seems* to be a group of the original devs, but we'll see. WACUP is a great project that has modernized WinAmp to the point where it is my daily driver for locally store music.

Most probably the blame is to put on Vista - extremely buggy OS.

Apps made after Win7 should have no issues with Vista though. it's biggest problem was when it was released, it changed the dynamic of how software worked with the OS. Since then, we've had 7, 8, 10 and 11 all doing more of the same that Vista started. By now, apps should just work.

That being said though - Vista in and of itself, being so old, may not be able to work well with apps that are designed to work with 10 / 11.
