I mean that I used Winamp in combination with Vista several years ago and since than I didn't use Winap on Windows 7 and up.Both lol. I keep them in dedicated folders as portable apps.
Apps made after Win7 should have no issues with Vista though. it's biggest problem was when it was released, it changed the dynamic of how software worked with the OS. Since then, we've had 7, 8, 10 and 11 all doing more of the same that Vista started. By now, apps should just work.
That being said though - Vista in and of itself, being so old, may not be able to work well with apps that are designed to work with 10 / 11.
