OS
Windows 11 Home
This started in the past week... windows display settings keep getting changed to sleep monitors after 15 minutes. I've reset multiple times and the value keeps getting changed back. Event Viewer hasn't shown any application making these changes, I tried rebooting and the value remains the same after reboot. Not sure of how long but it appears the value is changed after the computer sits idle for some amount of time - no screen saver is running. I've seen lots of recent entries about this but nothing that quite matches this situation.
Anyone else seen this?
Windows 11, Desktop computer, AMD Ryzen Balanced Power Plan with display monitor sleep set to NEVER, advanced settings SLEEP set to NEVER, wake timers are ENABLED (but that should not be causing this issue), turn off display set to NEVER

Thanks!

Why don't you try switching to High Performance power plan? Maybe the AMD plan is not working as planned (pun intended).

@spapakons @glasskuter - good ideas. However, it's been a few hours and the settings have not changed. I've recently run numerous diagnostic tools and beginning to wonder if they are the culprit. Will let the system stew for another day before going to a different power plan. Thanks

update - power plan has stayed as is for more than 24 hours. At this point, I assume one or more of the diagnostic tools I was using was changing the display power settings. No need to create a new power plan.

No action on my part to fix this - I determined one of the several diagnostic tools I used recently was apparently changing the display power settings.
