HI there
I recently purchased a new Asus laptop, which i am really enjoying using. I am a little confused however by the power settings, for instance when i want to run a full virus scan on the laptop i want the power to stay on all the time till it completes its task.
I can do this simply by temporarily changing the 'sleep & screen' settings found in System > Power & Battery, but i thought i would like to create a plan which i did, using the control panel route, it shows as saved and is tickable, but when i go back to the windows settings window it does not show as an option, furthermore it looks like it's not been implemented at all.
Also I have three options in the 'Power Mode' panel in the windows settings panel the options i have are 'Best power & efficiency' .. 'Balanced; and 'Best performance' but when i choose one of them and then go to the 'Screen & Sleep' panel it always shows a 3 minute timeout to sleep !!
It's like it does not matter which you choose it's still going to do the same, is there any way to set them up myself ?
