Solved Windows 11 Pro Installation (Personal Issue + Inquiry)

Yeah I had mentioned that a product key could not control a computer. But since they were worried about something being wrong with their machine, a clean install with their new product key couldn't hurt much and helps ease the mind. Just need to reinstall their programs and data. Depending how much they install stuff / use their computer might not take that long.

IMO I think you are worrying unnecessarily. I also think (unless there are circumstances we are not being told) that there is absolutely no reason to clean install windows and I would certainly not suggest that you do so. A product key is nothing but a set of numbers and letters. It cannot contain some hidden code that hacks into your computer or network.

Unless you have given someone direct access to your system to help you activate that key, a product key in and of itself in no way has anything to do with allowing outside interference to your computer or your home network.
Now, if you allowed someone to install Teamviewer or Anydesk (or you did it yourself per their instructions using a link they provided you) that's a different story.
I pretty much told every details there is. And no, I did not install any apps like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

Thanks for the response though!

Was just really paranoid about random peeps accessing or viewing my device for school and privacy reasons.

Yes. I'm already on final step which is setting up language and keyboard stuff.

Just really don't want to risk anything that could lead up to breach of privacy. :(

Hello again haha

I'm done with the installation and stuff, but the problem is this:

Any help with this? :(

I'm already connected to the internet and already downloading the stacked up updates.

Should I enter that instead of the original key from W11 CoreSingleLanguage?

Damn, that's a stupid mistake lmao. My bad

Since it's still not activated, I guess I can just enter it now (the W11 Pro key).

If anything happens, I'll try to directly contact Windows for their help.
Thank you so much!
