Windows 11 Snipping Tool is Distorting images

OS
Windows 11
When I hit PrtScrn, it pulls up the old Snipit Tool and I now use this to take a screen shot, then paste to a program, the image comes out stretched and cuts off the bottom. I noticed if I changed my display scale from 125% to 100% its okay, but I can’t be doing this every time as I take about a 100 screen shots a day in my job.

I tried to find the Snipit App, to either repair it or uninstall/reinstall, but it does not appear in my programs list, looks like it is now integrated into window 11.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks,

V

thanks, similar list to the control panel one, no snipit...

which seems a little odd, because if I hit my print screen button on the keyboard, I get the same Snipit menus as when on windows 10, looks like my machine is using something else maybe or is this still snipit?

I'll try to down load and install the old Snipit, see if that fixes things...

Whatever that app is, it's not the default Snipping Tool that comes with Windows 11.

ah, now its working after installing Snipit... not sure where that other snipping tool came from, looks just like snipit, wonder if that is what I was using on windows 10 (with no scaling/distorting issues), my machine was upgrade from win10 to win 11...

I used to be able to right click in the task manager area to access the Snipit tool, any way to get the icon back there?
