tried installing, it says.."This update is not applicable to my computer"?? Say what..lol. Now what do I do? Or I should say why is it saying that and maybe whatever is preventing it from installing is the reason I havent had any updates in my Windows settings update section?. I have a year old brand new build of my PC. I have TPM on etc or I wouldnt have this Win11 installed as we speak. and ive been getting updates, it just seems they are way behind.. now how can I update?

Why am I NOT able to go from Win11 pro 64 bit 21H2 to 22H2? Im running public release..however as ive seen and others have said my version is last year old even though none of the most recent releases come through in my Updates. IDK what to do now. Ive read about in place upgrades here i can find the posts but would that be what I should do here?

Can't tell from this thread, but have you tried directly upgrading with a Windows 22H2 Image (ISO)? -
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
no i have not. i can still save my files folders and programs when installing it correct? and the ISO install just says it will install win11, i have win11 installed i would need and iso of the latest version wouldnt I? or does the link you gave doing the iso download and installing, will that give me an older version or the latest version?

An in-place upgrade would be the way to go then. The link in LeLibran post #30 has the 22H2 download. You can download the ISO or use the Media Creation tool from MS. If you have Windows 11 compatibility issues I would download the ISO and use
rufus-3.21 To create the USB for installation. In doing the upgrade you WILL NOT LOSE ANYTHING.
