Well choosing that just went to a normal start up and did nothing! Only one option left now 🤞

Which would be weird because UK/English has similar spelling and setup to Australian/English. It’s just your keyboards that do my head in.
Helping people remotely in the UK has always been an issue due to a slight keyboard problem with the number key functions.

Negative. Only US Eng. Probably have to look to UUP for that, unless another member here has one to share

You should be able to skip then enter your Microsoft Account email when asked?

Windows 11 Pro if you want it? Home is fine, not Home N

If you don’t have a Windows 11 Pro key for that PC, or it isn’t digitally connected to that laptop on your Microsoft account. Worry about it later. You can buy one cheap enough.

If the Hotmail address is your Microsft Account for that laptop, then all good.

But truly, you can get cheap Keys from StackSocial for home or pro. If there are financial difficulties, just let me know when\if we cross that bridge.

Just an aside whilst it’s installing, is it ok just to use Windows Defender at the only Firewall / Antivirus on a laptop?

Many members use only Windows Defender. Many also use Defender and the free malwarebytes together.
